About Us
Loudoun Giving Hands (LGH) is an all-volunteer, 501 c(3), nonprofit corporation in the State of Virginia. Incorporated in 1992, LGH annually makes home repairs for person-in-need neighbors, in Loudoun County. Home repairs are free to the homeowner. Contributions acquired from individuals, corporations, local businesses, and other groups who provide in-kind contributions and sponsorship fees cover the cost of materials and skilled labor.
What We Do
With the help of everyday citizen volunteers, skilled tradespeople, local businesses, and major corporate partners, LGH repairs homes for persons in need, people with stability issues, seniors, older adults, and older people who are Loudoun County residents every year. Our work positively impacts the people and the neighborhoods where they live and allows homeowners to enjoy living independently, safe and warm in their own homes.
Loudoun County residents with home repair needs can fill out a Neighbor Application. Applications submitted by February 1 assist the planning and scheduling of the April work program.
In the past year, LGH undertook properties in Ashburn, Leesburg, Lovettsville, Middleburg, Round Hill, and Sterling Virginia.
Projects we've completed include:
